Is it sheet metal ???? i cannot see a rip ....anyway if it's not you must do the conversion .....but you can also use flatten quilt from advanced features.....
Tomislav listen this part cannot be unbent ...to verify this set mesh_spline_surface to yes if you see line it means that it cannot be unbent as in your case.....trust me not all the the parts created with sheetmetal can be unbent....
I advice you to try to work with surfaces and to try to use the advanced feature as Flatten Quilt.....it worths a try....with solid i think it's almost impossible....
