voice recognition & proe

Recently I installed a speech-recognition software (Dragon 8.0) to run other programs and was amused to learn I can bark comands into the mic (feature-create-cut, etc.) and run proe with some accuracy. Just an intriguing toy right now, but I'm interested in learning if anyone has incorporated this software into their daily proe usage. It has interesting possibilities (less icons on screen, less typing/keyboard usage, less mouse usage, more verbal mapkeys, speed-up productivity) if one could learn proespeak. BTW, when you say "I hate you" proe promptly core-dumps.

Looking forward to see if anybody else has done it!

I had a coworker that used voice commands with acad v11 and he drove everyone in the office insane. undo, undo, zoom etc.

He lost his voice once in a while from talking too much.

It would be interesting to hear what you think of it in a month.

i recon it would depend on ur enviorment, how close u are to your
fellow co-worker. But really i think that i, aswell as many people
point and click through menus way way way way faster than saying it

edit - setup - material - from file - location - file - click.

personally i think its more of a novelty than anything.

love to know what industry uses that kinda of software the most though.

May not be too bad if you could combine voice commands with mapkeys. I hope you will still use the mouse for spin pan zoom etc.
