graphics cards

Does anyone have a recommendation for a graphics card to run Wildfire 2.0.

I run rather large assemblies and have been having trouble with regenerations and opening files. I am looking at the NVIDIA's and want to get the most bang for my buck without spending too much. I want to keep the cost between $500 and $1000.

Look on eBay; $500 is way too much to pay. I recently bought a
"new" Vvidia 950 XGL (8 AGP) for $120 - it works perfectly.

Win 2000, 3MHz P4/800/512, Intel D865PERL M/B, 2 Gig RAM, NVidia 950XGL
(8 AGP), Viewsonic G810 monitor & Pro/E 2001. I/ve been
on Pro/E since Release 4? (1993), and this is the most stable platform
yet. It has NEVER crashed or locked up! I bought all the
parts on eBay for less than $1,000 and built it myself.

i am doing MS in cad/cam engnieering ,what i recomend for proe2001 is minimum nvidia's Ge force fx card with 128 Mb Ram with asus 865 board with 8x Agp slot and kingston DDR 512 MB SINGLE MODULE RAM WITH CASE LATENCY 2.PROCESSOR SHOULD BE AT LEAST 2.4GZ WITH HYPER THREADING.THIS CONFIGURATIO IS VALID FOR INTEL ONLY AND FOR AMDSOME PROCESSOR HAVING LOW SPEED MY PERFORM BETTER.

Just purchased and should receive by Wednesday an ATI FireGL X3-256
($775 from Page Computers). Dual DVI plus support for Dual Link DVI for
monitors such as Apple Cinema Display 30. Might want to check it out.
