problems with migrating intralink from v2 to v3

tried to upgrade from version 2 to version 3 all went wel until i tried to migrate the dataserver getting an error txtfile (this one is generated in my migrate folder)saying : Dataserver was not upgraded.

ERROR: Environment variable ORACLE_HOME doesn't set.

What to do? where did I go wrong? Thanks in advance!

In this case, I would highly recommend creating a dump file of your data, then totally uninstalling intralink & re-installing the new version.

The 2 - 3 migration is not very stable in my experience.

Thanks! great link........when I read things like this a only have one single thought:be afraight, be very afraight!

by the way: You might have a solution against proe crashing when trying to rename parts, assemblys or drawings in intralink 2

Thanks in advance

About your rename/crashing:

Always use Intralink for renaming if possible. This will maintain links between assys & parts & drawings.
