heat load as a function of coordinates

I'm using Wildfire, and I'm doing a thermal analysis in Pro/Mechanica. On the inside of a hollow cylinder I have a gradient of heat fluxes as a function of axial distance along the cylinder. I entered an expression that was a 6th order polynomial in the function of coordinates, but then it still asks me to enter a value for Q. Does anyone have experience using this function of coordinates feature?
