elsa gloria xl video card problems

could someone tell me if they have incountered video problems in pro 2001 using a elsa gloria xl video card. the mouse cuser will sometimes freeze up on the screen but the mouse is still active the way I have been unfreezing it is to minimizing the screen then maximizing it then it comes back.
