Running Pro/E through Microsoft NetMeeting

mansfield

New member
Hello,

I am trying to set up the ability to access my company comuter from home. This will allow me to get certain tasks complete at home and save me a trip to the office. My company tipically sets up the ability to remotly access ones work pc using NetMeeing. I am able to get to my work pc, but with Remote access sharing enabled on my desktop, Pro/E craches just after it displays the about screen.

Does any one know if there is a way to get Pro/E to run with remote access?

I am running Pro/E 2001.

Thank you for any assistance you can offer.

install proe locally on your machine. Do not load flexlm.

When it asks for the license servers names enter your work license servers. There will be issues and you may need a VPN to get through your companys firewall. This will aloow you to run pro/e from home as if you were sitting at your desk. You can install Intralink the same way.
