Pro/E 2002 to Pro/E 2001

hello people! I need a information:

is it possible to read a *.prt file made by Pro/E 2002 version with a Pro/E 2001 version?

There is no such thing as Pro/E 2002. I'll assume you mean Wildfire. It is NOT possible to open a Wildfire *.prt file in Pro/E 2001. This is known as Backward Compatibility, which Pro/E is not.

If you are refering to ProE/2001 build codes and not wildfire your awnser is yes. I have gone back in builds because of Pro manufacturing issues. I can open my files that were done in a newer version on my pc as well as the files that were done by the other people here with newer versions. I hope this helps.
