Color Wheel Graphics Issues

patent_pen

New member
While editing colors I have the following issue. The Color Wheel and Blending Palette do not show the color gradients. All that is visable is the blended blue/black background.

Has anyone had this type of issue? What will fix it?

I have attaced pictures for clarification.

DISPLAY AFTER OPENING THE COLOR WHEEL

DISPLAY AFTER DRAGGING WINDOW AROUND

I am running the following hardware configuration

3G Hz P4 Processor

ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Graphics

1 G of RAM

Wondows Pro 32 bit

Show window contents while dragging: ON

ProE 2001 Student Edition 2001151

Thanks

I had a similar issue with a 3dlabs card.

If its a ptc approved card, try a different driver. It may or may not help.

I have found that win32_gdi graphics settings for ProE fix the problem, but they also bypass the graphics card accleration.

Does anyone have any thoughts???

What drivers are people using with this card and ProE?

I have never used this card, but there are a couple of things that I have heard about that improve performance while keeping your graphics at OPENGL.

+ Show window contents while dragging: OFF

+ Turn off the shadow on your mouse.

Hope this helps.

Jason,

I have now turned both of those options off, but that has no effect on the display of the color wheel. The effect I am getting on the screen is that the color wheel is behind the blue background. I have tried tweaking my OpenGL settings but this to doesn't affect the color wheel.

Is anyone else using this card (ATI Radeon9800Pro )with ProE? What settings/drivers work the best?

This issue is more of an annoyance, but I would like to find a solution.
