Help! - Aero analysis in Flow Simulation?

pgroot

New member
I'm using Solidworks Flow Simulation to do some preliminary
analysis for a UAV planform I am designing. Considering all
the complex CFD Flow Simulation does I figured it would be
simple to find a vector for the average lift or the center
of pressure on the aircraft. However, I can't for the life
of me find something that will estimate it for me.
Does anyone have any idea of where I could get that kind of
information?

Thanks,
Phoebe

Thanks Jim but that doesn't really solve my problem. I can
find the components of lift and drag for my model but I
don't know where along the length of the airfoil the
resultant vector is (to find the aerodynamic center of the
whole planform). Does that make sense?
