Flow simulation help/issues

Witty1

Hi everyone
I was wondering if I could get some insight on my small issue that I'm having with my flow simulation.
The part is a "micro needle array" I'm trying to simulate a fluid flowing from an inlet port in the back of the array through the needles.
I'm getting the error "Face<2>@Patch-1 is not laying on the boundary between solid and fluid region."
What does that error mean?

Here is an image of the part (needle array)

Here is a closeup of a needle and the inlet port for a fluid in the bottom right hand corner

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Eric

I am trying to follow the Flow Simulation tutorial's example on internal flow. I am using the ball valve as a model. I am attempting to selecte the inlet port as a boundary condition. It comes up with that error regardless of what face/surface I select.
