Gears in Toolbox too restrictive- Edit ex

Hi everyone,

I'm a new SW user. I am looking to model a small gearbox but I find
some of the gears I need unavailable in SW. I am looking to make a 9
tooth mod .3 gear with a .7mm bore and I see all gears start at 10
teeth, the bore starts at .8mm etc. I tried to create the gear with 10
teeth etc and just edit the dimension after its creation but I see that
I don't know enough information to edit and the gear is fixed down with
so many linked equations in the dimensions I don't even know where to
begin. This problem propagates through the whole gear system as I need
a mod .3 crown gear (I suppose "straight bevel gear" in SW?) and the
pinion that it links up with starts at 12 teeth when I want to link it
to a 9 tooth pinion etc.

The gears are the G309-071, G312-078, and G348L gears on this page
(unfortunately the crown gear info isn't on the site but the store
owner said that he has one and just said it's a mod 0.3 36 tooth crown
gear):

Any ideas/suggestions? I know this is a bit weird as it's so small
but it is imperative not to just round up to the 10 tooth gear and
whatever else is readily available as I am looking to do an accurate
dynamic simulation in Adams to get dynamic information to try impedance
matching for the motor (to minimize input power necessary to the
mechanical system from the motor).

Thanks all in advance! Respectfully,

Jason

Have you spoken to a gear manufacturer, is it actually possible to make and run a gear you are considering. A one tooth gear is an absurdity, two, three, etc will clearly not mesh, a niner may not.
