save body on multi config prt, assy fails

I have a seating arrangement with 5 configurations, each
part config has been split into parts using the (Insert -
feature- save bodies) function. Unforutunatly I named
the straight section parts SS1 SS2 - SS8. I tried to name the corner parts CR1, CR2, - CR8.

The names did not stick (they were completely rearranged
and renamed on the Corner parts)and during the assembly
process as I add mates parts are failing???


Those were the problems with two configurations, now I
have 5 based on the same parts and my boss is liek what
are you doing????

Normally let SW pick part names however this sometimes
screws me up if I have more than one assembly open at the
same time,
Q.how do you name parts on your configurations to avoid
any rebuild problems later using multiple configs in the
same assembly.

If you name each part individually and exclusively for each
assembly you can get this to work, hooray!
