Multiple Versions on Same Computer

Zinc

New member
I am currently using SW2005. I'd like to install a standalone version of
SW2007 on the same computer. Are there any problems running two
versions on the same computer. Anything I should do to prevent license
issues?

I don't try to use multiple versions but I read about that: You can use multiple version on the same computer but is strongly recomanded to install in diffrent folders. (My opinion is to try install in diffrent drives).

For the second question...

. The crack program is the single option (I think).

Zinc,

I am currently running sw6,7,8 and beta 9 on my machine. I have not found any MAJOR problems. Install in seperate directories, i.e. sw2006, data 2006, sw2007, data 2007, etc. this keeps the toolbox, templates, etc, in their own respective directories. As for the license, as long as your maintenance is paid up on 2009, you should be good to go. An Nvidia quadro 3500 is about as low as i'd go for graphics cards.

good luck,

OK thanks. Both are fully licensed versions. I seem to remember trying this
with 2003 and 2005. When I installed 2005, my license for 2003 no longer
worked - my memory is fuzzy though on what happened.
