Semi-frozen solid works

Whenever I use solid works eventually, after using hole wizard it seems the program semi-freezes. I can't save anything, I can't close it, I can't make changes to the part. I can rotate it, change the viewing angle but thats it. When i hit escape it tells me it cannot access the file and or it can't be saved. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to happen randomly. Sucks quite a bit if I've been working on a part for a while and suddenly it's all gone. I have to ctrl-alt-delete to close it down...

I have the same problem. So... CTRL + S frequently. Sometimes I need to restart the computer. I use SW 2007.
