Hello,
I want to draw a cylinder with a different surface. In fact its surface is not plain. I want to simulate accumulated ice around a cable. Is there any way to draw this with SolidWorks?
Exactly what shape you want to create. Ice accumulated around a power line will have something close toanegg shape I think( in normal section to the cable) because of the gravity. Is this a correct asumption. SW allows you to create all kind of shapes, and I'm not going into details because I'm no expert at this. just experimentingI created all kind of funky shapes.
