Importing Old Drawing format

I have Solidworks 2008 and would like to import an older Solidworks sheet format (SLDBLK). Solidworks 2008 does not recognize this format when you try to use it as your drawing sheet format it only accepts .drt and .slddrt file types.

Any suggestions beyond recreate it from scratch

Two Suggestions

Create a new Drawing and choose the correct Sheet Size.
Right Click on paper background and select edit Sheet Format.
Delete the sketch entities and notes you don't want.
Import and place your Block.
File Save Sheet Format and save the .slddrt

Repeat as necessary.

To make it even easier you can open an old drawing and select File Save Sheet Format and do it that way too.
