custom symbol hexagon

I have ProE drawings that have a Hexagon symbol next to notes. Similar to GD&T notes, a collection of symbols and text in boxes. I want to use Solidworks to create future drawings. Is it possible to make custom symbols, like a hexagon, and use them like GD&T symbols?

Yes. These symbols are stored in the gtol.sym file under solidworks\lang\english
