Hi,

I am doing drafting of Cylinder part, I wanted to give a dimension from the Center Line to the Tangent surface of the Cylinder but i am not able to provide the dimension. Please advice me how to provide these type of dimensions.

Thanks,

Mansoor

Assuming you are doing this in the sketcher:

Click your dimension tool as normal, click on the cylinder surface, then click where you want to place the dimension. You should see a diameter dimension.

Right click on the dimension, click "properties" on the pop-up menu, uncheck "diameter dimension." Click OK. You should now see a radius dimension.

If you want to make it a linear dimension (a length dimension with the usual extension lines) you might try adding a construction line (horizontal or vertically constrained) from the circle center to the circle line. Place a dimension on this contruction line.
