i just startedwork on solidworks.. somehow i m not getting dimensions in ALIGNED SECTION VIEW.. please let me know that how i can get dimensions in aligned section view... like dia of flange....
If the dimensions are appearing in other views, you can hold down shift on your keyboard and drag the dimension to your section view.
If the dimension refuses to move to the new view, it is not set up to display in that orientation. Make your section cut in a new orientation, or redefine the feature such that the dimensions will display in that section view.
There may be another work-around for this involving annotation views, but I've never had to use it. Maybe someone can comment...
