assembly opening

Hello there, I am new to SW and I hope someone can help me. I am importing asm and have hundreds of parts. I have been opening each by clicking but as you can see it takes forever, this is probably a stupid question but how do I immediate open all the asm parts into the window so I can view them?

If someone can help it would be really great, thank you.

If you are importing an assembly, there is no reason to open each part.

I'd use the Task scheduler to open, print, save the assembly and each individual part.

thanks for this, but when I import the assembly I can't see it, I get a whole list and have to click each 'set to resolved' to see it. Am I doing something terribly wrong? It takes hours for me to view the files. I am working in 2004 solidworks.

oh. 2004.

on 2007, one can right click on top assembly and set everything under it to resolve.

hmmm....
