Point Reference Geometry

I'm new to SolidWorks and have a problem with creating Reference points.


I'm using SW2006 SP2.0.

If I select Plane 1 and either circular curve, top or bottom edge, they appear in the "Selections" box. But, when I click OK I getthe message, "Select entities whose intersection is a point." These do intersect at a point. {There is the imaginary intersection opposite on the plane from the real one.} I can create points at the intersection of linear curves and the plane. Furthermore, as you can see in the file, if the angle of the plane is changed the points do not update upon Rebuild.

Does anyone know why this is happening?
