Newbie here. I need some help with a little problem on a solid works piece I'm doing. My problem is that i don't know how to cut a hole in curved surface. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Well, you can use an existing plane or create one for the sketch surface, then create an extrude cut. Or, if you more intelligent hole, locate and select the surface, select the hole wizard icon, select the type of hole you desire.
Yes that did the trick. thanks very much for your help. I know it did seem like a stupid question but I have had no formal training in solid works and the online tutorials only get you so far. Thank the what ever is out there for online forums!
