Drawing an intersection of two parts

Hi,

I have drawn two identical 3D cones using the revolve feature. the origin of each cone is 5m apart and both extend 3m outwards - hence, they overlap at the outer areas.

Is there anyway i can make this overlapping area of the two cones into a seperate part?

I have included the below picture for clarity:

Thank you for your help

Jon,

Create the first cone per usual methods.

When creating the second, uncheck the "merge results" box.

In the Feature Manager Tree open Sold Bodies (the + symbol), you should see two bodies, most likely labeled Revolve1 and Revolve2. Highlight both and right click > Combine > Click the "Common" radio button.

You'll end up with a single body that is comprised of the overlapping regions of the cone.
