relations question..

In Pro/ENGINEER to add a relation you goto edit relation. Then you make algebraic expression. In UG you right click to make formulas. In SolidWorks you do something with link right? I want to make the value of one dimension to be 1/2 of another dimension. I can make one dimension equal to another. how do I one dimension some relation less or more with respect to another dimension? Messed with Equations but did not work like I think it should.

In the same sketch using tool EQUATIONS, AFTER you make a dimension equal with another, type the formula you want. Somthing like that:

Dimension1 = Dimension2 / 2 ......

Be sure that is a correct mathematical expresion

About that I have a question too: How I can link a dimension from one sketch with a dimension from another sketch ?
