Bending a Tab on a Curved Face

I am having difficulty modeling a sheetmetal part. The part is a squarein which is bent around the middle 180 degrees creating a semi-circle with straight sides for mounting purposes. In the middle of the sheet I need to have a tab bent 90 degrees from the already bent face. Solidworks does not like this manuever and will not allow me to bend the tab and just gives me an error. Does anybody know a solution to this problem.

Thanks

I don't think you can do this in sheet metal. CAD or the real world. This is a solid feature, and your sheet metal guy will either hate you or spit in your face. Hopefully the latter, as it will cost both of you a lot less money. Provided neither of you is fond of lawyers. Try machining or casting the part, or breaking it up into a series of small bends. Which the sheet metal guy will still hate.

is the part a "true" sheetmetal part or a "stamped" part? you might just have to model it and dimension the "finished" part without a flat file.
