on the Features toolbar or click Insert, Features, Scale.

For more informationsearch for scale in SolidWorks Help Topics in the Help menu

good luck

Thats true for a part document, but I am working in an assembly. There doesn't appear to be any way of doing it.

YOU could edit your part while still in assembly mode for what I assume would be a permanent change to the part. If you want to maintain the original geometry and still use a scaled part then go back to the part file and create another configuration of the part ,,,,,then scale to your hearts desire.

Control-Q rebuild and save.

Then all you would have to do is right click on your part in the assembly and change your configuration.

The only reason I was asking is that I am making a 1/16 scale model of the USS Zellars DD-777. The watertight doors have a clear opening of 26"x66". So I was thinking I could draw the door full size and then scale it down in my assembly.

But I ended up just making the door 1/16 scale by scaling down the dimensions.

Thanks for all the tips and help.
