Importing Iges or Step Files

Does anyone know of any special settings for importing any kind of neutral files into SW. Mainly work with iges and step files created from Rhino and import them into SW 2004. They come in ok, but most of the time I have to remodel the filesbecause they are all surfaces and can't select any of the edges that I want to.


Is there any settings in Rhino that can help out the translation into SW. I'm not familiar with Rhino, but our ID engineers use it often.
