.bmp file extensions

Hi Im trying to import a .jpeg file into solidworks, and it is not working very well. I have attached the file it is not very big or too extremely comlicated. I dont know why Solidworks makes this simple conversion so difficult

what do you want to achieve??
do you want to create a car like the sketch? in 3d?

you can import the jpg into SW part file (or drawing) by clicking ..... insert / object / create from file.

this just dumps the image flat to screen.
then you can create a sketch and screen position pick near the points on the imported jpg.
