DXF Export

I have a solidworks drawing file which is an isometric exploded view of an assembly. I am wanting to save this in DXF or DWG format to enable AutoCAD users to view and edit the file.


WhenI save the file out as a DXF or DWG format and open it using AutoCAD 2005 the detail is missing from the drawing and many of the lines appear as heavy blocks.


Does anyone have any idea on how to save the file out so all the detail is maintaned?
