Moving Folders to new HHD

I purchased and new computer and installed my Solidworks 2005 on
it. I also copied all my solidworks files to the new
computer. When I open assemblies on the new computer they
do not find the hardware from the toolbox. The toolbox is
installed and clicked in the add-ins. What can I do to restore
these hardware pieces in my assembly?

It sounds as if you have Toolbox installed to a different location on the new computer than you had on the old one (I'm assuming that you are running Toolbox local and not off a server).


If this is indeed the case, when it prompts you to locate the file, you should be able to browse to the new location and find the parts. When you save the assembly after doing this, it will know where to find them.

It is in the same folders on the C drive. It was on the C drive on the old computer.
