copy configuration exploded

can anybody tell me an easy way to copy/reproduce a configuration which has an exploded view?

i am producing several assemblies which are very similar.
i have created the most complex one and now need to create ones with parts removed and changed.

do i have to create the explosions for each config?

any advice will be graciously accepted.

First, create your additional configs. Then activate the one with the exploded view in it. Pick the exploded view, hold down the Crtl key and drag and drop it into the next config. That should copy the whole exploded view. I've done it a couple of times already.

i did work it out eventually.
although there is no help in the help file.
display states do a very similar thing and are quicker to rebuild.
