OBJECT SNAPS

Hi.

I am a new solidworks user. I've been using AutoCAD.I've read the manual and I am having trouble with object snaps.InAutoCAD you are given the option to snap to midpoints, tangents, intersecting linesetc, etc.

I am trying to draw a circle. I want toplace the centrepoint on top oftwo existing intersecting lines. In the manual, it says that a lightor some particular signwill appear when I move my cursor over the intersecting lines. Unfortunately, nothing appears on my screen. This alsohappens when I am trying to snap to midpoints. What should I do?

Thanks. Hope to hear from you soon.

Is tools - options - system options - scetch -relations/snaps and there enable snapping turned on?

Are you trying this in drawing or just scething? If it does not work,
you can always draw lines and circles at different places and then
manually constrain them.
