Mechanism Advice please ?

Hi....View attachment 5374 I need some1 to advice on attached picture joint mechanism...

actually I want connection to be aligned with left part all time during translationa (axial) motion but right part can be tilted wrt to translational axis ...

I am thinking to have some adjustable nut in right part so that nut can tilt but connection between both parts remain straight all the time during motion

can some body suggest how it will work in reality and some useful link

Regards

i think u mean to say 'rotation' instead of 'tilting'..

right part should rotate on its own axis and also have translation movement along axis, coaxial with left part axis--> Is that u want to achieve?

If the yellow connecting part is supposed to be flexible but not compressible, a ball-joint type of constraint
would work.

If it only rotates, a pin type would do.

well
first sorry a bit late reply ...was out of country
anyways i can explain more ...
there is translational motion only(first to left and then
to right)of whole assy by prssure applied on face of
right part.. The pressure distribution on face of right
part is not uniform on whole surface. So there will be a
misalignment of axis for right part and left part (If
connection is rigid) during translational motion which
needs to be avoided.
I suggest it to have a flexible connection with some
mechanism so that it should cancel/absorb/minimize all
the forces which are not aligned with axis of translation
(These forces must be in radial direction). In this way I
guess I can avoid misalignment of left part and solve the
problem. Can some body suggest some connection or give
some reference of similar problem solution. It will be a
great help....
