Assembly Drawings, BOM, Baloon numbers

We are using Repeat Regines for BOM and love them.

One serious problem we can not solve yet, how to stabilaze baloons numbers.

After design is accomplished and drawings are released, we need to keep existing baloon numbers always the same (freeze) independent of that fact that new components may be added later.

Otherwise it is difficult to communicate with receipients of drawings, who have original documentation.

Thanks in advans for sharing your thoughts.

Hopefully you have figrured this out by now, but try TABLE/REPEAT REGION/FIX INDEX. This locks the bom numbers of existing components.

ProFishent is right FIX INDEX is the solution to your problem, also you will find out that if you add new components after you have fixed your repeat region you will see in your repeat region table that your new components information is added above of your previous components
