how can i simulate a motion of a cam rotating (blue), but it should be objected or stopped by a part (green) on its way? as shown in picture?

IT IS REALY A PROBLEM HOW CAN I DO THIS,


ALSO WHEN YOU NEED TO SIMULATE LETS SAY A BOX TO BE DRIVEN OR PUSHED BY ARM TOSOME DISTANCE, AND STAY (THE BOX)THERE WITHOUT COMING BACK WITH ARM DUE TO ITS CONSTRAINT.

You must have the "Mechanism Dynamics Option" (MDO) license in order to perform this type of analysis. A simple "enable lift off" cam pair would simulate your situation.

hi,

one of the method will be using motion axis. Define the
plane and set the max angle when it touches the green
object.

another method will be using cam-follower. In the
properties section click "Enable Liftoff"

Beside that, you can also use 3-D contact. This only
available for Pro-E 5.0 only applicable for dynamics
analysis.
