"My wire spool length is not updating after copying a harness over tree column reads 0.000"

Can you elaborate on this comment.

Sorry for the lack of clarity.

I did a save as to create a new cable harness.

I usually like to display the "Designation", "Length" parameters in the model tree

columns so I know the length of wire being used.

For some reason my spool Length in the model tree column is not updating for this

assembly (See attached pic.).

However I can get it to update only by deleting and re-routing the wires.

I would like to find a more robust way to re-associate the spool to the wires.

create a new spool that has a name like 16_GRY_SXL_2.

MODIFY>PARAMETERS> SELECT YOUR WIRES W1,W2,W3,W4 HIT OK.

CHANGE THE SPOOLS FORTHESE WIRES TO 16_GRY_SXL_2. APPLY>OK

REGENERATE

WINDOW>ACTIVATE.

REMOVE YOUR OLD SPOOL WHICH IS 16_GRY_SXL.

1.
Question: Spool parameters that are exported from RSD into
procabling are parametric because when you select spools, edit, electrical
parameters in ProCabling the parameters can be seen from the exported RSD data table but
when you select the spool from the proe assembly in the model tree the
parameters do not show up. Does anyone know why.

No idea why, just confirmed what you said. I guess they designed the cable parameters to only show up in Pro/Cabling and maybe in a drawing (I haven't tried calling out cable parameters in a table in a drawing yet). I'd think that info would be accessible in the "Standard" mode.
