nylon ties in exploded view quesion

Standard practice question... If you show a cable tie in an exploded assembly, how do you show the cable tie? Tied already in its final position, but the cables don't pull thru the tie strap. Or do you typically show the nylon cable strap in an open position as if it will be pulled tight and clipped?

For me it depends on how the tie strap was originally modeled. Most of
the time, I see them shown in the "just started" tied position. So the strap
is loose. But if the strap is modeled to be flexible, then I tighten the strap
to the harnesses.

Just what mjz0010 said. I have them modeled up loose with a perimeter dimension controlling the length, and its radius is flexible. So I can adjust them to fit around whatever is needed, and if I want to show it clipped, I either do an assembly cut or activate a rep of the tie that has an extrude feature controlled by said rep.
