2 different state of assembly in drawing

Hi guys!

I work on a 15-piece assembly including assembly drawing that someone else has created.

In thedrawing there are 2 models, model.asm and model_extract.asm. model_extract.asm itself is not existing as a fysical file,I do not even know how to open it.

Does anyone know:

1) where does this model_extract.asm come from. How is it created and how can I open it?

2) When i replace parts in model.asm, corresponding in model_extract.asm do NOT change. Why is that?

Thank you for helping!

When you open the drawing all the models are also brought into memory. Do a file/open/in session (blue screen icon) and you will see your model_extract.asm. Open it and hopefully you can figure it out.
