Showing dimensions at part and assembly mode???

hayo

Hello guys!

I would like to show chosen dimensions in the part or assembly mode so I can create pictures of it in the shaded mode. Even maybe “add/create“ desired dimensions.

(Pictures are often asked for reports and documentations…)

/Tanks…

While in the shaded mode, right click on the model tree on the particular feature and choose MODIFY. The dimensions will show up. You can export the image as a TIF and the dimension will show. Use DimCosmetics to move the dimensions to a better location if necessary. Also, if the screen font is too small and does not export clearly, use the config.pro line TEXT_HEIGHT_FACTOR to increase the font size (you'll have to restart Pro-e for it to take effect. It's one of those undocumented features!)
