I wish the software would...

Absolutely! Or, in the very least, not put it smack in the center of the screen. What's wrong with the bottom ot top edge?
 
The View->Shade works great. I found this by accident, after spending hours lookingthrough PRO/E help (a joke) and online for a way to turn this off. I wish you could turn this off permanently, but everytime you clip a view, you have to go back to View->Shade. It is another example of how PTC puts no time into thinking about user interface.


I wish PTC would pull their head out.

View Shade forces all parts into the shaded mode, even those that have been individually set to wireframe via a style state.

Those on screen notes date back to a time when the software was a lot more primitive. It's useful to have that info visible, just not for quicky screen snapshots for use by others.
