part edge color

I would like to make the edge color of a part black, ( like a black outline). How do I do that?

Check out this --- View -> Display settings -> Model display -> Edge line


by using above u can't change color

Create datum curvesat edges (select edges -> Copy -> Paste)


then give color

I called ProE help line. The steps to achieve black edge lines for a part:


Tools; Options;show shaded edges; set to Yes


View; color and appearances; pick black color dot; assign par; pick the part


Now pick another color dot, ( color that you want your part to be), under Assignment, select surfaces, pick on a surface of the part, RMB pick all surfaces.
