dwg/dxf files do not appear

Newly created dwg/dxf files do not appear in in file open dialog window no matter which AutoCAD version they are saved as. Older drawings are visible.


When attempting to 'insert' 'shared data' 'from file', newly created dwg or dxf are not visible in the 'Open' file browser. Existing Dwg/dxf datais visible and available to insert.

no spaces are in those acad file names... correct??

Also, check the file name length. Usually this problem is one of those 2 things, spaces or name length. Pro|E is more finicky with this on DWG/DXF than other formats, it seems.
