Assembly in separate folders

New member
Hi every body.

First i am sorry for my bad english.

I am new on the forum and in proe, i need to do an assembly with parts from different folders, i use a file config.pro with the paths located in the main project folder, my question is if the path need to be a full path or not?

For example "c:\mold_1000\screw" or just "\screw"?

You can use relative path names too. In folders that need parts from other folders I make a config.pro with the additional search pat entries. Users must remember to load the config.pro before opening assemblies or drawings.

search path ..\..\library_parts\fasteners

My example search_path ..\..\library_parts\fasteners will go up the directory tree twice then down to library_parts then down to fasteners. This is all relative to the current working directory. If you just want to go down from the current working directory to directory screw use:

search_path .\screw

Just add search path, option to your config.pro,

it should point to all the folders wher u kept the differant parts.

like c:\ptc\nuts
