Help with Modeling

Well now I'v done it. It appears that I have gotten the CATIA program
stuck into a mode which will not let me see any new planes or features
I create on an existing model. If I click on the origin symbol at the
lower right corner everything disappears or appears(not like before
when the model would simply change colors). I have searched through the
tool bars and menus for a clue as to what might be going on, but with
no luck. can anyone help, I am just learning CATIA and have only the
book for reference.

Try right clicking on your last feature and select "Define in Work Object". You'll notice the feature you're working on underlined.
