Given a path, getting the cam

How would you approach this problem (see mpg).?


If you have the product on the tape and you need thebrown lower couple of plates (and top orange one) became the cams driving the box motion?


Take into account there are other boxes behind the first pushing on the tape....

I see this as a problem of Mechanism engineering than CAM design. The part is being rotated by 180 deg to re orient it. Try using a mechanism similar to geneva wheel. This may not be possible with a simple cam.
