All,

Im trying to assemble control arms and bearings to model a wishbone suspension set up. The end points of the front and rear control arms are defined in space (2 planes), giving varied and non exact control arm lengths.

Is it possible to set up the control arms so that their part lengths change according to the x-y positions of their ends in the assembly? Is it even possible to define in that way in an assembly? (ive only been able to define datum planes to each other by angles, not by specifying x-y co-ords).

Ive tried to look at usingskeleton models, but don't have a clue what they do or how they work...

Any help is greatly appreciated (if im not clear in what im trying to do, just drop me a line)!

cheers
