changing part names

We have a number of parts with family tables that I need to change the names of. The instance names are still correct, but the generic file has a name which doesn't conform to our current standards. These family tables are used extensively throughout hundreds of previous assemblies. It would therefore be unreasonable to do a replace. Does any one have ny ideas?

Are you using Intralink? I assume you do, since you posted in Intralink forum.


Using Intralink, just rename and everything will be okay.
