Continuing from my previous threads about Edit>-Restructure, I think something that would be nice to have would be the ability to select a load of components in an assembly and convert them to a sub-assembly.
Generally, I assemble nuts, bolts, washers etc as ref patterned items (pattern on the metal parts) and this means that they can't be restructured afterwards. So in a case like that, the above would be quite handy IMO.
(This really comes from what I was able to do with CAT's bespoke Fluid Lines Hose Routing package)
