First I want to say hey to everyone, I'm new to this forum. Second, I'm a newbie with pro engineer. Third , I searched the forum for my problem, but I couldn't find it (mainly because I don't know how the action is called witch I want to do)

Here it my problem: I made to separate parts and assembled them. Now I want to make one part of it.

Thx,

merge the two parts that you have assembled. menu clicks are

Edit--->Component Operations---->Merge

I hope this helps.

It did help. First I got the "packaged component" error but I searched a little on this forum and found the anwser. So now I have merged them together but it still shows a rib which I don't want to see

Does anyone knows how to remove them ?

The best method is open first part then

Insert---->Shared data---->merge/Inheretance

after this open the part yuo want to merge and now assemble the part like in assembly mode. this way you won't see the rib like thing.
